Our technician visited a home in Wylie, TX to address a mini-split system that wasn't cooling properly. After inspecting the unit, we found the refrigerant level was low. We added one pound of R-410A refrigerant to bring the system back to the correct charge. Once the refrigerant was topped off, the mini-split returned to normal cooling performance. Low refrigerant is a common cause of reduced cooling in mini-split systems. If your unit isn't keeping up with the heat, it may be low on refrigerant or have a small leak worth investigating.
