Our technician responded to a call from a homeowner in Lucas, Texas, who reported that their outdoor fan motor had fallen into the compressor section of their air conditioning unit. We found that the screws securing the fan motor to the grille had failed, allowing the motor to drop down.
The team installed new screws to properly secure the fan motor back to the grille. During our inspection, we also discovered that the contactor and capacitor had burned out, likely due to the motor displacement. We replaced both components to restore proper electrical function.
After completing the repairs, we tested the system to ensure everything was working correctly. The air conditioning unit is now running smoothly and cooling effectively.
