Our technician responded to a heating emergency in Parker, TX where the heater kept shutting down unexpectedly. During our inspection, we discovered that the flue pipe had been accidentally covered during a recent roof replacement project. This blocked the proper ventilation and caused the heating system's safety sensors to activate.

We replaced two faulty rollout sensors that had been damaged by the ventilation issue. These sensors are critical safety components that shut down the heater when they detect dangerous conditions. We also coordinated with the roofing crew to properly uncover the flue pipes and restore proper ventilation.

After completing the repairs and ensuring proper airflow, the heating system returned to normal operation. This type of issue is more common than homeowners realize - exterior work like roofing can sometimes interfere with HVAC components. Regular maintenance helps catch these problems early before they cause system shutdowns.
