Our technician visited a home in Lucas, TX to address a cooling system that wasn't performing properly. After diagnosing the issue, we replaced the evaporator coil and recharged the system with 2 pounds of R-410A refrigerant. These two steps are often connected — a failing coil can lead to refrigerant loss over time. Replacing the coil restores proper heat transfer, and recharging the refrigerant brings the system back to the correct operating pressure. Once the work was complete, the system was cooling efficiently again. If your AC isn't keeping up with the Texas heat, don't wait — small issues can turn into bigger repairs quickly.
