The air filter was completely clogged and needed replacement. We also cleared a blocked primary drain line that was preventing proper drainage. The outdoor condenser coils were dirty, so we thoroughly cleaned them to restore efficient heat transfer. During our inspection, we discovered the system was low on refrigerant. We added 4.5 pounds of refrigerant to bring the pressures back to manufacturer specifications. After completing these repairs, the air conditioning system was cooling effectively again.
